Course Narrative In this Japanese Cinema course I was able to learn more about the Japanese directors and gain a better understanding of the way that they filmed their movies. Most of the movies that were screened in class were older but they were all very interesting and very intriguing. I really enjoyed this class because I was able to get to a better understanding of the Japanese cinema culture. Throughout the course, after we would watch a film in class we would discuss it in class and then we would have to write reports on the films. The reports really helped me because they helped me elaborate more on what the message of each film was.
